This is a follow-up from Holly on her Mom, Thanksgiving, Pumpkin Pie Blog Post!
Our pumpkin pie was perfect; we all loved it! It tasted exactly like my grandma’s pumpkin pie; however, just Gluten-Free Casein-Free (GFCF)! The only GF item in all our many dishes on Thanksgiving was a sprinkle of french fried onions on the green bean casserole that was made from scratch (homemade mushroom soup). I pulled out a portion before adding the onions and it was a perfect GF alternative! This was my first time to make stuffing from scratch; and, with the help of Udi’s Gluten Free sandwich bread, it reminded me of the Pepperidge Farm version my Mom made growing up!! Please let me know if you would like a copy of any of the recipes I used. It was a very special day for our family; we hope you had a beautiful day as well!
