All About Parent Involvement!

By AASLOctober 29, 2015

Parent involvement is crucial to the success of our Socialights PEERS® Program (Program for the Education and Enrichment of Relational Skills). Throughout the 14 week program, parents participate weekly in their own group to learn the same skills that their teens are learning from week to week. They are expected to discuss the success of the prior week’s homework and they get feedback on how to continue to support their teen with the curriculum.

The parents are the teens’ social coaches around peer interactions at home, around school, and in the real world. PEERS® is an evidenced based program that has demonstrated concrete results in the lives of teens; a reflection of the impact a parent’s involvement has in the success of their teen making and keeping friends. PEERS® is All About Parent Involvement in making a real difference in the lives of their children that lasts far beyond the 14-weeks! Imagine participating in a program that has measurable and lasting results; contact us today to schedule an intake for your teen!
