Ashley Bassett

Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD), OTR/L

Occupational Therapist

Ashley is a pediatric occupational therapist on a mission to nurture and empower children and families. Her journey in this field began with a deep-rooted passion for helping others, fueled by experiences that shaped her path. With a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a minor in Child/Family Development from Georgia Southern University, and a Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD) degree from Gannon University, Ashley has honed her skills and expertise to specialize in pediatric care. From sensory processing challenges to developmental delays, she’s had the privilege of walking alongside children and families on their unique journeys. Most recently, she is relocating up from Naples where she has been working in a private practice setting similar to AASL for the past year. She is excited to become a part of the AASL Occupational Therapy team!

What drives Ashley is the connection she forms with each child and their family. It’s about more than just therapy sessions – it’s about building trust, understanding, and creating a safe space for growth and development. When Ashley’s not in the clinic, you’ll find her exploring local coffee shops, spending time by the ocean, or unwinding with loved ones, especially with her cat, Parker. She believes in the power of balance, finding joy in both the little moments and the big adventures.

She’s grateful for the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our AASL families!
