What is Dyslexia?

Dyslexia is a neurological disorder.  It is a language processing disorder and learning problem that some children and adults have.

Dyslexia can hinder reading, writing, spelling and sometimes even speaking.

Dyslexia is not a sign of poor intelligence or laziness.  The problem is inside the brain, and not because the child’s vision is impaired.  Children with dyslexia process and interpret information differently.
