Courtney earned her Bachelor of Science in Communication Science and Disorders from Florida State University her Master of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Central Florida. She has experience working with children from infancy through early adulthood in a variety of clinical and educational settings.
Courtney’s clinical interests include expressive and receptive language development, articulation, social/pragmatic communication, autism spectrum disorder, and literacy-based intervention. She is passionate about early intervention, parent coaching, and providing play-based, child-led therapy that helps children build confidence and meaningful communication skills.
Before becoming a clinician, Courtney worked in internships with mixed neurodiverse and neurotypical classroom settings serving children of all ages. She has collaborated closely with teachers, families, and multi-disciplinary teams to support the carryover of communication skills into everyday routines. Courtney believes that every child’s voice deserves to be heard, and that meaningful progress happens when therapy is personalized, supportive, and rooted in what makes each child unique. She is thrilled to be part of AASL and is dedicated to creating positive, supportive experiences for the children and families she serves.
Outside of work, Courtney enjoys spending time with family and friends, working out, relaxing at the beach, and tackling new DIY home projects.
