Learn More About Autumn…
What is your favorite food?
Does ice cream count? I’d eat it for breakfast, lunch, and dinner if I could! Okay fine – tacos or any type of pasta! :)

What is my favorite holiday and why?
Christmas! There are so many special moments, traditions, and memories made with family. My love language is also gift giving so Christmas totally fills my cup!
What is a cool hobby of yours?
I make charm necklaces for friends and family and I recently learned how to play the harmonica! (I play a wicked ‘Piano Man’ and ‘Mary Had A Little Lamb’)
Favorite Halloween costume you wore as a child?
Simba (The Lion King is still one of my favorite movies).
What did you want to be “when you grow up”?
An orthodontist.
Why did you become a therapist?
I am the older sister of two siblings who have special needs; my younger brother has quadraplegic cerebral palsy and my younger sister has hemiplegic cerebral palsy, hydrocephalus, epilepsy, and chiari malformation. Growing up I had the privilege to bring them both to therapy appointments each week while I watched therapists pour into my siblings, providing them with the support they needed to gain strength, confidence, and overall independence. I had a front row seat to the pediatric therapy world – a world that changed not only their lives, but our entire family’s. I have always been described as a “helper”, therefore being a therapist felt like a no brainer – especially a pediatric therapist. If I am able to give back even an ounce of what my siblings’ care team has provided my family, I know I will have done my job – and well.
What’s the funniest thing one of your clients has said in a session?
“I don’t see any beds, where do you sleep? On the floor??” – A child who could not believe that therapists do not in fact live at the clinic.
What is one surprising/cool fact about you?
I can recite almost the entire movie of ‘How The Grinch Stole Christmas’ (Jim Carrey version)
What pets do you have?
None :( I grew up with dogs and have family dogs who live back in MN. But perhaps I’ll buy a goldfish!

How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days
