Guiding Alicia’s therapy is the commitment to establish trusting and open relationships with both clients and their families, bridging the gap from the therapy room into the home and community.

Brieann feels it is especially important to teach the necessary life skills to foster personal growth and independence for their clients to subsequently live, work, and become part of their own community.

Aleksasha attended William Paterson University of New Jersey (WPUNJ) where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communication Disorders and Sciences. She then continued her education at WPUNJ and earned a Master of Science (M.S.) in Speech-Language Pathology.

Alexia attended Geneva College, where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Communication Disorders Studies with a Minor in Spanish. She then continued her education and earned her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Gannon University.

Alexis Alfonso Cohen, M.A., CCC-SLP, is a bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist and Tampa native who earned her Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Florida State University and her Master of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Central Florida.

Brittany graduated Magna Cum Laude from The University of Central Florida with a BS in Communication Sciences and Disorders and a Certificate in Language Development and Disorders. Following graduation, she spent nine months volunteering at Tampa General Hospital.

Brittany believes that every child is unique and tailors therapy to create individualized plans in order to meet that child’s needs so that he or she can become successful. Brittany attended the USF where she received her Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Speech-Language Pathology.

Courtney earned her Bachelor of Science in Communication Science and Disorders from Florida State University her Master of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Central Florida. She has experience working with children from infancy through early adulthood in a variety of clinical and educational settings.

Gabriela received her Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders with a minor in Human Services at West Virginia University. She then went on to get her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology from Carlow University in Pittsburgh, PA.

Kristen earned her Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from West Virginia University and has dedicated her career exclusively to pediatric settings. She is deeply committed to working authentically alongside children with complex communication needs, prioritizing meaningful relationships with both families and professionals.

Kylie graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Central Florida with a BS in Communication Sciences and Disorders and a double minor in Psychology and Music. She then went to earn her Master of Arts from the University of Florida. 

Mariah attended The University of Akron, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology with a minor in Child Development. She went on to obtain her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Gannon University.

Mia attended West Virginia University where she earned her undergraduate degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders with a minor in Child Development and Family Studies. She then obtained her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Pittsburgh. She is passionate about helping individuals improve their communication and confidence through evidence-based, compassionate care!

Alyssa received her Bachelors degree in Psychology and Sociology from Florida State University.  She then received her Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences.  She is so excited to be back in her hometown and providing skilled occupational therapy services and be apart of the AASL team!

Autumn is originally from Minnesota where she received her Master’s of Occupational Therapy at The College of Saint Scholastica in Duluth. She received clinical experience in both adult and pediatric populations, however her passion has always stayed in pediatrics. She has been a pediatric OT for 3.5 years, practicing in both MN and TN.

Baylee is committed to helping children gain independence in meaningful daily roles, including their ability to learn new skills, foster autonomy in self-care and academics, and interact within their community and across all environments they encounter in their lives.

Lindsey received her Bachelor of Science in Health Service Administration from Santa Fe College. She graduated from University of Saint Augustine with a Master’s of Occupational Therapy.

Holly’s life mission is to make a positive impact in the lives of others. Her position at AASL has provided the avenue for her to accomplish this.

Kathleen is originally from Melbourne, FL and then attend Florida State University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders.

Since 2005, I have been an Army spouse and a veteran myself. I served for 8 years in the United States Army National Guard and Army Reserve. My true passion lies in serving our clients.

Emily takes pride in assisting families with their schedules and ensuring their needs are met. It’s incredibly fulfilling to connect with AASL families and play a part in creating positive change.
