Molly attended Oregon State University where she received her Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Exercise and Sport Science. She then continued her education at Barry University in Miami, FL, earning her Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Occupational Therapy.
Molly has had the opportunity to gain clinical fieldwork experience in a variety of settings, including acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, and outpatient settings. Prior to working at AASL, Molly worked as an occupational therapist at an elementary school for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other various intellectual disabilities. Molly enjoys working directly with young children and their families, using her skills in occupational therapy to help children achieve their greatest potential. Molly recognizes the importance of providing evidence-based, client-centered care with her clients. She finds it so rewarding to assist children in reaching their goals and getting to see their improved confidence and independence in every aspect of their lives.
Molly lives with her husband and daughter in the Tampa Bay area. In her free time, Molly enjoys exercising, traveling, and being outdoors with her friends and family.

What is your favorite holiday and why?
Christmas; I love the family traditions, Christmas music, and decorations.
What is a cool hobby of yours?
I love anything outdoors – hiking, camping, biking, swimming.

What did you want to be “when you grow up”?
I knew that I wanted to work with children from a young age. I thought maybe a nurse or a teacher, but it wasn’t until college I discovered the best career of all… OT!
Why did you become a therapist?
I love getting to work directly with children and their families. It is so rewarding to help my kiddos reach their goals. I love getting to see their improved confidence and independence in every aspect of their lives.
What’s the funniest thing one of your kids has said to you or done during therapy? After meeting my student for the first time: “To be honest, you looked really boring when I first saw you. Turns out you’re a tiny bit fun.”
Give me one surprising/cool fact about you?
I lived in Nicaragua for a semester during college. I learned some Spanish and lived with a host family. I loved getting to experience full immersion, living in a different culture!
What pets do you have and what are their names?
No pets, but I love dogs and hope to get one someday soon!
What is your favorite movie and why?
Mulan! I love the original. I used to have all the songs memorized growing up.
