2019 Fall Social Skills Program (August 26 – December 16, 2019)
Elementary Socialights – Social Skills Program (S. Tampa Office)
Program Description: This unique program is planned and facilitated by licensed, insured, and skilled Speech-Language Pathologists with frequent consultation and collaboration with Occupational Therapists. Our program is designed to teach your child essential social skills, aspects of higher-level communication that allow them to connect with and build successful relationships with other individuals. Social skills that will be addressed include: interaction skills, listening, teamwork, considering others’ thoughts/feelings, empathy, problem solving, negotiating, compromising, conflict resolution, play, self-esteem/confidence, and self/body awareness. These multifaceted skills, which play an important role in your child’s development, will be addressed in a dynamic group setting with developmentally and age-matched peers.
Recommended for ages 7 – 12
Limited and designed to best meet the needs of every child. Each child will be screened prior to admittance into our program to determine appropriateness of and readiness for enrollment. Please call at your earliest convenience to schedule a time for this screening.
There will be a $60 fee for the screening. This is due at time of the screening by check or cash.

$60 per class. You will receive a monthly statement from PatientPay, our credit card processing partner, for the prior month’s charges. One absence will be excused during this program; otherwise, you will be charged regardless of attendance. Attendance is critical for the integrity of the group experience.
