Ready For Summer with Fine Motor!

By AASLJuly 13, 2016

Our friends are showing us that they are ready for the summer with their creative and fun fine motor projects.  Many friends helped us to create different sea creatures that required various different fine motor activities, such as tracing, cutting, punching holes, painting and lacing.

Fine motor skills refer to the use and coordination of the small muscles that are located within the hands and fingers.  With the help of Occupational Therapy, our friends are working on strengthening those muscles and increasing their coordination with fun and innovative approaches.
